We met Simon Reeder at an open house, when we were just starting to explore new homes and selling ours. We explored several agents and agencies, and were initially intrigued by Redfin, particularly their commission/fee structure and their technology based marketing approach and expertise. What ultimately sold us on selecting Simon instead was that he not only worked with our budget to bring the numbers closer, but more importantly, was infinitely more responsive, and simply seemed to care more, both about our home search or sale and about us personally. He was always available and able to answer any question we had, and was genuinely concerned that we found the right home for us, even if it wasn't through him. It turned out to be the best decision we could have imagined, as he was fantastic to work with throughout both sale and purchase. Working with Simon was like working with a good friend or relative who happened to also have a real estate license, even though we had just met. Timely and useful communication was particularly appreciated, and suited us and our needs perfectly (again as noted before, this was a stark contrast compared to other options we were considering, where we struggled to get a response to an email). He was always available, willing and able to help with anything we needed, he even helped us paint our fence! Simon and his team walked us through both the sale and purchase transactions expertly, and got us the best deal possible on both, we received multiple above-asking offers on our listing on the first day on the market, and negotiated a below-market price on our new home in a highly competitive market. Overall, this was a perfect match, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We would (and have) absolutely recommend Simon to all of our friends and family who are in the market, and if you're reading this, you should give Simon a call!

Everyone knows a realtor or knows someone who knows someone. Most have good experiences and are satisfied with their service. Not everyone has had opportunity to work with Simon Reeder. My wife and I are above and beyond satisfied with the service that Simon provided. Buying a house is a big deal, probably the largest purchase you will ever make. It's not always an easy process, it takes time, there's a lot involved, you have to prioritize your requests, there's fear of making a bad choice it's stressful, I know. But I also worked with Simon and he was there for us, every step of the way. He did his homework, he kept us calm, he made himself available for us when we needed, he guided us and offered recommendations and he got us what we wanted and then some. I'm sure there was a lot that he did behind the scenes as well, things that we weren't aware of. Simon was smart and having a smart realtor really pays off. He understands the neighborhoods he serves better than anyone I have worked with in the past. He was constantly researching public and private information to meet my specific needs. When we finally found the one, she was there to help us put together the offer, and when the sale of our house got delayed, she negotiated for us with the people whose house we wanted to buy, and did a good job of protecting our interests even though their agent did not make it easy. We had a problematic buyer, but Heather and Simon were the right people to have helping us because they were able to allay our worries when the buyer caused angst. They dealt with the problems by presenting the issue, a couple prospective solutions, recommending the one they thought was best based on their experience, and it all worked out eventually. We had more questions than usual because of the problems caused by this buyer, and Heather and Simon were always available and willing to answer them. The work they did in the background with the buyer's agent and lender to sort everything out was just fantastic, and very reassuring.
